Tonight's report.

Me = FUBAR. Totally. Went for a tackle playing IM tonight, and hooked fingers around the opposition's flag belt as I was diving for the stop. Got the tackle. Possibly saved a TD.

But...

In my brilliant wisdom, I now have two fractures. Middle and ring fingers are broken. Going to be unable to play anything (or even write, for that matter,) for six weeks minimum. And if you thought that sucked, we lost the game, too. So I'm basically FUBAR'd. In all respects regarding marching band and athletic bands, too. ARGH!

I want to curse the opposition, who did not play a very fair and sportsmanlike game. The referees burn as well, for not calling a particularly good game. I'll stop just short of cursing Divinity for her bad timing. I will be aggravated at my inability to type on this keyboard with one hand without typing two letters at once...

...it goes downhill from here. This is going to suck royally.

Hey, Silver... this is TK, posting from Welah's laptop before I pass it over to him to finish. Bad news, dude! My medical advice: take prescription painkillers only when you're desperate, and take OTC painkillers when it's still just pretty darn uncomfortable, not when it has already begun to hurt.

Been there done that. Ask Drew about my scars.

Major bummer. Hope you heal fast and the pain subsides even faster. Don't push yourself too hard, though. Give it time to heal!!!

Aha, got my laptop back!
But man, no band? No athletics? Limited typing? What will you do? *Shakes head* Just guess you're gonna have to come over and watch volume after volume of anime to take your mind off the pain. I hear Cowboy Bebop is better than Tylenol. ;)

Anyway, Best wishes for timely healing, and feel free to say a prayer to your diety of choice in my name, 'k? Well, hang in there, and let's get together sometime soon. (I get back Tuesday)

Ack! I'm sorry, silver. :( Very sad. Hope you get better quickly.

Let me know how it is! It looked like it might be cool. :)

Your profs, if they are understanding at all, should permit you to postpone your exams, or work something out with you. If not, consult the Dean of Academic Affairs. If that fails, transfer to Whitworth. ;)

I suppose this will be a good time to learn to be ambidexterous. Heh.

-=TK, wishing you a speedy recovery

Well, at least you can still hold the 'bone, too... maybe you can get a tie or something so you can attatch the slide to your cast?

EEEK.

Sorry about that, Silver. Can't you write with only your thumb and index finger? I can do that but I don't know if it's just me.

In the meantime get some rest and don't be depressed, because you'll recover faster if your spirits are up.

There are ways... a little duct tape wraped and hooked around somehow...

Be inventive! Don't let a couple bone breaks come between you and the "Holy Instrument of Faith"!

Oh! Good! I was sure you'd find a way somehow.
