Man, I object to that Kotaku cosplay article if only on the grounds of 'But if that’s not enough, maybe you want to know what’s step one? Easy. Have talent.' Because 'have talent' is discouraging and demeaning on top of generally not being true. 'Have perserverance', maybe, although the cynic in me says for that costume, 'have money' - the materials to do a decent body cast are going to run a couple hundred, and the materials for quality scupting and casting are going to run higher (though it looks like they opted for latex instead of silicone for the body pieces, which is a little cheaper)
