Thoughts on what to write?

For the last two years, I took the month of December and talked a lot about baseball. But as of July this year, I've walked the entire deck, and so I could use some suggestions on what to talk about for the month. Month-long suggestions are welcome, but so are daily or weekly topic possibilities.

Baseball is still a possible topic, including the request "pull me a card, please, on this question", as is the journey of fanfiction writing I started in January. Library life and work is a possibility. Poetry prompts, song prompts, artwork as prompts, drabble requests, perhaps, all of these things are workable. Politics is possible, but there are plenty of people hoping to avoid it, so those may be considered on a case-by-case basis.

So, please do give me requests. I haven't updated my interest lists in a long time, but maybe there's something there you're curious about.

Let me know, please, or I'll have to come up with it myself, and that's only going to produce random.

It's not a whole month but you could do a week of fanfic journey/creative journey in general and then a week of creation taken off either prompts or your own brain?

Random would be fine by me as I find your posts always good to read. But the prompts also intrigue me and I'd contribute to those if you decide to do that.

Seconding the interest in fanfic journey.

Library life and work are fascinating to me - I did book repair for a few years as a college student, and got a glimpse of some of the other bits of how the library ran. More detail on everyday life with books would be great.

Your notes on how a person in an unconventional relationship might come to realize that something is wrong might be a public service. Likewise your notes on what making a decision to exit can be like. Only if you are comfortable writing about such ideas, though.

Commenting here rather than on a December entry so as to not distract from that conversation.

So there's been this recurring thing going around the internet... a conversation between two people from the future. Quite often, it's presented as a comic strip or a page from a comic book. There's an elder and a younger... the elder is talking about this "place" being a place of memories, and the younger asks about a certain part of it that looks... darker than the rest, to which the elder replies "That's 2016. We don't talk about 2016."

Except... I'd be interested to see a rebuttal to that idea. A counter-arguement to the idea that we should not talk about the past, just because we do not want to remember what happened...

What is love? What makes a good relationship?
