Reminder to self -
Self, don't EVER watch Moulin Rouge alone. Period. Don't. Do. It. (With one exception - if you really just need to get all of your emotion out somewhere, then go ahead. Good luck finding someplace where you can do that, and that will accept such an outpouring.)
So that's what I've been doing for the last two hours - and let me tell you, it's worth it. I still suggest following the advice above - don't watch it alone. In fact, I think trying not to express the emotional buildup I got from that film is giving me a slight twinge in my sinuses. So I'll sleep it out.
I'll also say that it deserves to be called a musical. Those boys and girls can sing. Mark another soundtrack (and movie, eventually) that I need to buy.
Tomorrow I go and watch lil' bro do his thing. Should be very interesting to see. And maybe I'll be able to wrangle a cable out of ma so that I can get all of my peripherals working again. Then I can truly leverage my awesome powers. Or something like that. Who knows? Either way, I have some tubs and things to take back to Ma anyway, so it'll be both productive and fun. Who knew?
So, in joyous anticipation of my early rising tomorrow - time for bed. There's no links in this post, so I can't screw up any URLs.

oh Alex...
If you ever need anyone to watch that movie with, I am always willing. It is my favorite after all. (That and Disney's Hook.)
Don't be afraid to get emotional. It is natural to get emotional. Tell society to bug off.
And do have a good day.
Re: oh Alex...
As for getting emotional, well, there are good times to do that and bad times to do that. This probably would have been a bad time, even if it did give me a slight headache in punishment.
As for having a good day, well, you'll just have to wait for my next post, won't you?
