Sure, but for a book to be known as having been banned or challenged, it means the censorship attempt failed at staying quiet (or was never meant to be quiet). I feel like there's a lot more censorship going on than what we hear about precisely because it is successful at both achieving it's ends and staying quiet about its existence.
