It's a very chilling song, which works well for "you overreacted to this, and as a consequence, you doomed everyone else." I feel like it would have worked better as a more faithful telling, since the show is after all about the power of friendship. If Snowfall had decided to destroy the holiday because she's got a Grinch problem, it would work better with the setting.
