silveradept: A kodama with a trombone. The trombone is playing music, even though it is held in a rest position (Default)

Wh00t!

It took them three overtime series to do it, but Michigan emerged victorious 45-37 today. The wind was vicious and played havoc with the punts and kicks if they got too high into the air. Even though Michigan won the football game, the referee and his crew need retraining. (Imagine how irate I would be if we had not won the game.) Even though they are volunteers (at least, I think they are in our conference), there were some calls that went beyond questionable.

But the game is past now, and a beautiful memory it is of such. Took a little longer than that other overtime game I experienced, but we won that one too. I now know to avoid a particular reserve duty in the fourth quarter. We win the games, but it took overtime both times I had that duty. I might have got a good picture of myself taken, too, as I was skittering about, and playing in between my duties. So the woodwind sections often had a lone trombone player. Luckily I knew my music.

Once again, fnord.

Weird.

And now, bedtime. Bedtime. Time to sleep. I don't know if there's a Daylight Savings thing or not, but if there is, we welcome the sleep.

Hey, we were flipping through the channels tonight, flipping back to check the score of your game. I looked for you among the band. You might have been on tv :)

Congrats on your win. We won our game too :D

If there is daylight savings, I'm sure some one will tell you about it when you arrive an hour early to something on monday. Don't worry about it
