Here comes the home stretch.
It's apparently official. Michigan is off to Pasadena again. So that means that Tuesday's Final Look audition will be for the Tournament of Roses, a chance to go for the second time in two years. Luck, prayers, whatever you can spare my way will be helpful.
Repeats are in, apparently, as women's basketball again took Alabama to OT, to lose on a last-second sort of basket. Oh, well. Hopefully, they'll rebound when I go do athletic band tomorrow.
Lots of interesting things, like The Great Escape to keep you occupied. Like the Discordian Bureaucrat, the Dude is a Buddha, there are no Bad Movies, Matrix Haiku, and the like.
If it sounds a little surreal, and the past two weeks have done the same, then maybe you need to play with reality a tiny bit. Perhaps taking Chaos Magic's mentality out for a spin will help. Perhaps not.
Mork referenced Sorry Everybody in his journal. While the server itself appears to be getting swamped, there are alternate places where you can get the gist of it - Americans apologizing to the world that Mr. Bush was re-elected. I like the concept, I have to admit. And some of the pictures and captions are pretty poignant. And it strikes an amusing chord, since the American image is usually one of never apologizing to anyone about anything.
Anyway, it's off to bed for me, after one last check to see if my laundry's dry. Or maybe I'll get it in the morning?
Oh, and happy birthday,
aoanla.
