The Holy Grail...

...well, sort of. Actually, the Big Ten Grail is what was sought after in the halftime show today. Hopefully we find it this year. It was a show that I would have been proud to be part of. The Liberty Bell, the Foot, the Lumberjack, the Black Knight, it was all there. I'm buying a copy of this year's DVD for that show. Trombone ingenuity strikes again, and the marching band does a pretty good show. (Announcer: "Stop groveling." Band: "Sorry" Announcer: "And don't apologize!" Band: "Right!" *snap horns to playing position*) It was fantabulous. Bring out your dead!

Anyway, it appears that if you've got a big thing to auction, and you can't decide between the various houses, the hip thing to do is play Janken for it, which also leads into an interesting thought about what would happen if Kid Rules were the gold standard for the world's politics.

Also, CD burners. Guaranteed to give a good roast every time. In second place, Bowling for Geekery

And you want to know the kind of profession I'm planning on going into? This sums it up nicely. Respect your librarians. It'll get your job done quicker. In fact, learn your library catalogue and call number system. It'll save you and the librarian time.

It would be nice if things could be settled with a nice match of Janken. Of course you just have to make sure they don't use the 15 step version you showed earlier.

The problem is that too many politicians are already acting like children so if it didn't work in their favor, they'd just hit the Big Red Button of Doomness. At least when you were a kid and lost, you could always cry and cry to your parents and they would help you win.

I, of course, with the Band, had the WORST FOOTBALL DAY OF MY LIFE.

Glad you enjoyed your game at least...

Also, my mom was a college librarian and I will say that librarians are at least a millions kinds of awesome. (Librarians at school loved me because, having been well taught my my mother in LC classification and stuff, I actually went out of my way to help patrons who looked lost.)
