Ta-da.

Okay, so no major work on the minor work, but major work on the major work. It was still a productive day. And then I relaxed (sort of) with 18 on the on-line golf game. Ended up winning the set with a -1 score, the only person to be under par. Huzzah. Still to go - one major group paper (next week will be working on that) - about 100 words on the paper I worked on today (due in two weeks or so), about three pages on an 8-10 page paper (due in about two weeks or so), plus a few scattered nuisance assignments. I'm sitting pretty well, actually, considering that the end of the semester is barreling along. I think I can enjoy my Thanksgiving break okay.

Penn believes there is no God. Whether you agree or disagree, he does make good use of showing that a lot of the time, people (me included) use the idea of a Divine force as a crutch.

Ah, yes, one last thing - Happy birthday, !caps. I'll forget if I don't say it now.

(Yeah, it's a short entry. Apparently, they tend to garner more comments. Bed now.)

Everybody is an atheist until the quicksand closes over their heads.

The problem is, it revels how shoddy the product must be. If they have to wait till you're in that tight a spot, then how good is this whole God thing?

I prefer to remember what Johnathan Swift wrote about Gulliver.

Let us remember he survied because while others prayed, he swam.
