Refreshed considerably.
Took off much time from the working grind, having done my frontloading appropriately, and was able to have great fun with
annaonthemoon. She should make it home safely soon. She even bought a few things with the block M on them while she was here. It was a fruitful weekend. And I've spent the last few hours adding inches to my paper. Haven't made it past page four yet, but I still have some material to work with. I should be on page five when I get finished with all the descriptions there. If I can find a study on the things I'm going to be talking about next (user behavior in libraries in the post-PATRIOT era), that would be even cooler.
Anyway, the things that come across your desk when you have a pseudo-random linking site in your daily aggregation. DRT links to the correct way to get ketchup flowing.
On a considerably more serious note, Time tells us that global warming is accelerating. Considering we have no scientific evidence for the existence of heaven nor an afterlife, would someone kindly tell the right people that God does not play dice, and that if he wanted the world to be destroyed, he'd be showing off some signs?
Also, a wonderful justice of the Supreme court, Scalia, flipped the bird and got his picture taken. I don't know if/where the image is published, but I want it. Just so that we can show what some of the people sitting on the bench think about us.
Okay, that's a wrap for tonight. It's just past midnight, which means I need to pumpkin in favor of being able to get up in the morning.

Sadly, I'm now overly exhausted...after I made the first stop/nap I had to stop again because I should know better than to stop to nap...EVERY TIME I have to stop a second time because the first nap just isn't enough for me to get the rest of the way home. Oh well. I'm home.

Alarmism at its best: designed to alter policy that it has no business dealing with in the first place.
