Arrived in Washington. Prepped for battle tomorrow.
I made it here. Despite the plane being delayed, long lines at the rental car counter, and my ever-present ability to get myself totally lost, even in the simplest of situations, I have managed to establish a base of operations. After I get vetted by the residents tonight, we'll see whether I have to keep my base mobile. Signs are encouraging, however. Tomorrow is Interview #1, which, to some degree, is the "easier" of the two in that I don't have to ahve a fully-fledged fifteen-minute extravaganza ready, just a five minute story and a three minute book-talk. Both of which I'm pretty sure I can do well.
Day after is Interview #2, where audience participation is going to have to be a very large part of making the demonstration work out for me. Otherwise, it could take a while.
Anyway, that still leaves significant amounts of time for me to Go Places, Do Things, and See People. Suggestions on things to do and/or times to meet will be welcome.
And I hope the flights home aren't delayed. Also, need to remember to buy food for the flights back.

Yeah, if your flight gets delayed on the way home, you'd have to call me while I'm sleeping cos of the stoopid time change, and I might get cranky at you. :p
