Still on low-power mode

Have not yet found a place, but prospects look good that I will have one. Can't call it until I have it, of course, but I hope things turn out well. It'll be close to work, and to where work will eventually move. Once again, I'm just hanging out at my eventual workplace, enjoying that public libraries offer Internet access to the general public. Of course, it's only an hour's worth, but for me on low-power mode, that's enough time to stay current on a lot of important things.

Suffice it to say, even if things all go well, I'll still likely be at my current location for a few more days. And having almost nothing to do because I don't know what there is to do around here is a pain. So, any suggestions on what to do in the area would be appreciated. Not that I'll necessarily see them before tomorrow, but that's just how things are.

So, yes, suggestions, ideas, and requests for having fun around will be entertained with relish. Walking around the mall is fun, but only for the exercise, really.

the interurban trail is a good hike, if you know where it comes through wherever you are... as far as i know it goes almost all the way through the state from north to south, starting in bellingham. i know it comes through the west side of auburn and continues south, but i haven't investigated south yet...

Even for exercise, I'd pick a park over a mall! :)

I don't know what there is to do in the Tacoma area, other than stuff I might be able to find through google. I already gave you my suggestions for Seattle when you were out there in June, so I guess I'm not much help. Unless you want me to search google for you.

OH OH http://www.hotplaces.com/ there's a museum of glass and a building shaped like a tea (coffee?) pot!

PS: why is it only an hour's worth at a time? and are you at your actual branch, or that one that was closer to the extended stay?

Erm. Where are you again?

He's in the Seattle/Tacoma area.

Figured I'd reply so that if you've got suggestions you can make them before SA checks stuff tomorrow :D

[ and so I don't have to spam with another comment - SA, what about checking for any local letterboxes? of course, if you find any nifty ones, you may have to rediscover them with me ;) ]
