Wow...

Today was a lot of fun. I did something that should remain nameless although potentially economically viable, first this morning. Then, I played official for the Nu vs. Delta Upsilon Kappa Kappa Psi "Brother Battle" football game at Elbel field. Nu, my University's chapter, won handily. I was officiating, and my shoes were muddied pretty good. I can only wonder about the players.

After that, it was two periods of Wings-Avs, and three periods of Michigan-New Hampshire. The good guys won in both occasions. (I can hear [livejournal.com profile] torakiyoshi gritting his teeth at that.) Then there was the off-and-on assault at papers. Not necessarily a productive attack by any means, but there were words put down.

And then I brought one of my eccentricities out, a baseball-themed tarot deck, and asked it a question. Very encouraging results. Now to try and put the advice to use. (I think I might have heard a few other people grind their teeth at that one. My response is to put my thumb on my nose and wiggle my fingers at you. Deal with it.)

The rest of the night has been spent wasting time, watching movies and dinking about on the internet. So from here, there's not much to do but count my sheep.

Now, why would I grit my teeth if the good guys won? It's always a pleasure to see the Wings lose. :)
