I got a job offer today. I accepted. With much glee and happiness. Of course, now I have even more work to do to get ready for that. But I'm going Pacific Northwest, hopefully by the end of the month.

Certainly. I'll have "free" time, meaning you'll be able to see me, starting when I get home - there's going to be some serious packing involved and such to try and get me out there before the beginning of next month, if possible. You've got this month to find some time.

And even if I'm out on the West Coast, I'll still be trying to get as many Michigan games on television or radio as I can. Don't worry, I know my loyalties.

Congratulations. This is really wierd, thinking that I'll never be able to just swing by you in Ann Arbor. The thought of ya being all the way in Washington State...just wow.

I hope things do work out for you out West. You'll probably do just fine out there since it's practically a whole state with the same mindset of a College town...which means you'll be getting kick ass internets, great weather (since I hate the sun) and probably get your hands on better anime & manga with bigger asian communities.

Now I just have to hope that we'll get a JAMS screening in before you take off so you'll get a proper send-off.

He-llo! This is exciting news, indeed! And this from the one who, just days ago, lamented to me needing to move back to the 'rents due to lack of job.

Hip-hip-hurray! You know you will be sorely missed, but for what it's worth, I'm jealous as all hell. The inland northwest -- such a beautiful country, and to finally have a real career. Ah, at the game of life, you have overtaken my playing piece ... for now. ;-)

Quite exciting news. Things finally worked out in a nice, positive way. I may still have to move back in with the rents fr a temporary bit, but it will be temporary now.

I suspect you'll be catching back up just as easily once you're through with your studies. I think you'll do just fine.

I will try to let you know when I'm coming through, and if I'm coming through your area. Most likely, if I'm driving, it's with a caravan of people, so it may not be just me that would have to bunk. Maybe a lunch date will be possible, maybe not. We'll have to see.

I'm sure that you'll like WA, and I highly recommend getting down to Portland to check out Powell's Books and their Japanese Garden. Very cool stuff, or at least it was when I was through there 16 years ago. :-)

The pity is that I was hoping to make it up into your neck of the woods next year for Protospiel. I still hope to make it, but chances are that you won't be there. At least I might have a chance to meet the Grey Weirdo clan. Eh, maybe someday we'll meet. I hope Becky is taking this well.
