I got a job offer today. I accepted. With much glee and happiness. Of course, now I have even more work to do to get ready for that. But I'm going Pacific Northwest, hopefully by the end of the month.

I'm sure that you'll like WA, and I highly recommend getting down to Portland to check out Powell's Books and their Japanese Garden. Very cool stuff, or at least it was when I was through there 16 years ago. :-)

The pity is that I was hoping to make it up into your neck of the woods next year for Protospiel. I still hope to make it, but chances are that you won't be there. At least I might have a chance to meet the Grey Weirdo clan. Eh, maybe someday we'll meet. I hope Becky is taking this well.

Ah, how unfortunate. Well, maybe sometime one of the conferences will be around you and we can say hello then. Or we'll find a convention that we're actually going to together and hang out there.

Russet's never been to Portland, OR, and I'd love to return there, so I'd say there is an excellent change that we'll be up in your future neck of the woods in the next few years.
