The real update, done on April 2.
Apr. 2nd, 2004 12:05 amHopefully the previous day passed without too strong an incident. Inspiration struck a bit for one of my papers. the other's still in the figure-out phase, where I have a general idea what I want to write about, but haven't decided on strongly specific structure for it, as I’m' still trying to figure out how to best organize it.
Major congratulations to the University of Michigan men's basketball team, who defeated Rutgers University 62-55 and won the National Invitation Tournament (NIT), the first official postseason title since the program was cleared (this year!) from a postseason ban by the NCAA. Congratulations, Coach Amaker and the Michigan Basketball squad. (YAY!)
The hometown hockey squad wrapped up the President's Trophy for the best record in the NHL this year. This could be good, or this could be bad, depending on who sits in the 8 spot for the first round of the playoffs.
Baseball is gearing up for the season (Officially, it already started, but not everyone is playing season games, as best I can believe...) Here's hoping the Tigers lose less than 100.
Let's see. Ah, yes, I made macaroni and cheese according to Mom's recipe tonight, and it was delicious. Both roommates approved.
Still much to do, to do, before things get done. Hoping that something will turn up like it's supposed to and I'll be able to ease my way into summer properly. (Please?)
I think that covers things for tonight. With class at 10, you don't want to spend too much time thinking about things long into the night.
