I took the test today, and the scores I got are enough, I'm fairly confident, to not have to take that test again - at least, for the components I saw. I'll still have to wait for them to process my essays, but I think I did okay. I found out that my lil' sister got a 4 on her AP Calculus test - same score I got, but enough to be poinging around a bit, since that score will probably either waive a requirement or something for her.
Then I sat down and gave my webspace a trash-and-rebuild. It's not wholly complete yet, but there's enough stuff that should be interesting. Go check it out.
And I just got off IM with one of my friends from high school who's in the military. The one that my parents, siblings, and I have all said that we would resurrect and kill again if he managed to get himself killed in his line of work. So he's still alive and well. He's also apparently not scheduled for return to hostilities for a while. I hope this stays true. If nothing else, he'll have his college money by the time they let him go to college.
So today has been a good day - tomorrow, there is work, of course, and then I have to go talk to people at the School of Information so that I make sure I have all the correct knowledge when it comes time to apply for the school. Barring acceptance, the only major obstacle I have in between myself and that Masters program is my Thesis - and the year of school that accompanies it. Must be time I learned a few of those other fun skills, too.
That, and since I'm basically cooking by myself for the rest of the month - anyone got any recipe ideas? I'll consult my cookbook when I want to go shopping next, but if someone has some good recipes that I can follow (I've proven that I can do that, at the very least...)
So, kids and not-kids, I'm off to my bedtime appointments! Those still up might want to think about playing The Art of Urban Warfare.
