Oh, very well. Tagged.
May. 11th, 2005 02:44 pmSince I'm here at work, I suppose I'll fill this meme thing out. But only because
tinchen said I should.
One: Total number of books I've owned:
Mine, personally? Probably less than one-hundred, possibly even counting graphic novels, although that might be an understatement soon. In my house that I thought of as mine? Four hundred or so added on to that original one hundred. My family likes books.
Two: The last book I bought
That wasn't a graphic novel? Or a school book? umm... I think it was Zen Computer, but that would put it back at the Rose Bowl trip... no, that sounds about right.
Three: The last book I read:
Again, not graphic novel nor a schooling book? I think it was that I finished The Matrix and Philosophy on the basketball band trip. Memory's not so good regarding this sort of stuff.
Four: 5 books that mean a lot to me:
Villains By Necessity - Gave me a perfect outlook on the standard hero story
The Principia Discordia - a foundational text that members of all faiths (or lack thereof) should read
Turtle Tale - One of the very first books I read, and still enjoy reading today.
...you know, it's hard coming up with five individual books. I've got a boatload of series books that could mean quite a bit to me... and most of them are more than five books long, so they don't count, sort of.
Five: Tag 5 people and have them fill this out on their ljs:
Optional tag, of course, but I pick...
goji
pontifax
gun_metal
welah
and
torakiyoshi.
I don't expect any responses out of it, though, since they're all very busy doing what they do best - life.
