I did get work done today, I swear! (I think.) It just didn't necessarily seem like productive work. Quite possibly a lot of spinning the tires, just adding bulk onto what are already cumbersome assignments. I think I'll be able to kick it into a higher gear soon enough. After all, still have to do a lot of work yet before I'm done. Lots of it getting in the way of other work. It's a late kickoff tomorrow, so I'll probably be able to go at more work. That said, the football game may end up being a blowout against us. Or it might end up being a blowout for us. You never know around here - but I'm pretty sure we're the underdogs.

[livejournal.com profile] greyweirdo started the day out with some tips on how to effectively educate kids about drugs. Almost proving one of his points about stoners is an article about the juxtapositions of pot and porn. With regard to pictures, you might want to read what the photo processors think. Some of the stories they get in film rolls must be very interesting. I wonder if they try to piece together what was going on in the pictures. Also, what happens to those rolls of film that are designated unprocessable for one reason or another?

Other things of strange - Prevent Science Abuse. Journalists, lawmakers, everyone - only you can prevent science abuse. Otherwise, they'll lock you up and then keep you past your sentence... wait, no that's for sex offenders, not science offenders. While the idea might be sound for people who really are going to be dangerous to society and can be proven so, even then, the potential for abuse is considerable. After all, there are places where a judge or someone might look the other way if it could be achieved... it's not been that long since lots of professionals thought homosexuality was a mental disorder.

Wowzers.

That was a bit more of a football game than I expected. Halftime score 3-0, final score 27-25. And instead of losing it on the last play of the game, we won it. So once again the victor of our conference will be with at least one loss in conference. Of course, that means our conference is going to shift around in the rankings again. And it likely means that while there may be bowls in many of our futures, they're not necessarily going to be big ones. Anyway, so it was a very fun day at the stadium today, and there will hopefully be positive reviews all around in the paper on Monday.

Vote Mork. Or else.

Also, from [livejournal.com profile] greyweirdo, Cannaboids may be good for your memory and mood. More study would be appreciated. Although we suspect that there's nothing that will come out of this other than "drugs are STILL bad, mmkay?" Kind of like this article about persons who eat clay. Or chalk. Or something like it.

For the people who claim, like my mother, that they have trouble simply running and jumping together in their games, there's a bit of a list compiling about one-click games. Had a lot of fun watching the Nanaca Crash thing, but I suppose that's a two-click game.

Vote Mork. Or your head may end up in a jar.
