And we're happy. While most of my day was spent either sleeping or doing readings (blech), I did get a couple pieces of larger puzzles done today, too, so I feel a bit happier at that. It's starting to come into focus. Now all I need to do is figure out what I'm going to do to write all the other stuff. Maybe Sunday I'll start in on that paper, and see if I can't send a draft of the other paper for review. Still not allowed to panic, as the closest due date is still a week away (ish). Definitely want to get that other set of papers done before the break, if at all possible.

And now I can't even run and grab my tinfoil hat when I'm feeling paranoid - MIT students (possibly in a hack, I suspect) have shown that tinfoil receives better at government-only bands. Although that may mean we need to use our tinfoil to figure out what they're sending.

Speaking of government, apparently I really want to get done with my schooling soon before the feds cut my aid. The state's been slashing funding worse than a fledgling fanficcer, and now the federal government wants to write a sequel.

Thanks to the awesome powers of [livejournal.com profile] wicked_wish, there's a video gem behind this link: Viking Rock. Thanks to [livejournal.com profile] greyweirdo's awesome, there is the Michigan Accent Pronunciation Guide. So if you're ever confused about anything I say or how I say it, take a gander at that link. You'll be enlightened without ever having to see any of the lighthouses.

Actually, [livejournal.com profile] greyweirdo is even more awesome than that - he dialed God yesterday asking about what to do over Pat Robertson's comment, and here's the response - God had some choice words. Additionally, a different minister wrote Pat a nice letter about his precognitive powers. If this keeps up, Pat will need to go to Starbucks for a name change.

Actually, he might just need to re-orient his perspective. Actually, most of us might need that particular twelve-step program. And while we're talking about the perspective of life, why not go visit your local temp agency and see what they're doing to help people who had jobs and lost them.

Last thing for tonight - Much as I think I'm a White Mage, and might enjoy having the skillset of the Black Mage, I'm really more of a Time Mage, at least according to the quiz )
