The saying, "An apple a day keeps the doctor away?" Well, it might also help you keep your mind as you get older. Not that I would be attached to any sort of apple at all. Under a similar sort of vein - we've finally found a way to make Barbie useful. How? Mod her into a USB drive, of course.
If you're nervous before the big presentation, one potentially effective way of de-stressing is sexual activity. But apparently, penetration is the key to the operation, so make sure you've got someone receptive to that idea.
Happy One Hundredth Birthday, Albert Hofmann, first synthesiser of LSD. In celebration, there's a conference in his honor going on, where people are talking about the research they're doing into how LSD and other sorts of drugs may have very beneficial purposes. Whether that data gets squashed or realized is up to someone else, unfortunately.
An era has passed. Unfortunately, it is not longer possible to receive a Western Union telegram. For some reason, I consider this to be a great loss, even though I know and use all of the more modern communication methods invented since then.
There were also some hopeful looks, considering that on a particular capital punishment decision, the first for the court since the appointment, the newest member of the bench did not make his opinion with the expected faction. This does not tell the whole story, nor does it hint at all as to what the judge will do when confronted with different cases. Eggs, stay diversified, please.
I relaxed a bit and played some games today, and when I arise tomorrow, it will be back to the reading, writing and information science. And then, a quick jaunt away to do some thing at home, then back to town for a meeting of friends, and perhaps an away for a party on Sunday to watch a meaningless padded rugby game with friends.
