silveradept: A plush doll version of C'thulhu, the Sleeper, in H.P. Lovecraft stories. (C'thulhu)
Much more done today - I’ll probably turn a couple things in tomorrow (since they’re due over the weekend), feeling that they’ve done their job and can be sent along. From there, I think I’ve done much on the bit that I should produce Tuesday. If I go out and pick up a couple screenshots tomorrow, I should be able to manufacture the good part of that. Which leaves the Sunday meeting for the Wednesday presentation, and I’ve done work on that already, just so that things move much smoother when we get together. That work ethic can be nasty. But it still left me plenty of time to take down Act five of Okami, leaving one act and a lot of things yet to go. I might be able to finish it before the year turns over. At least, I hope I will.

So, here’s the link parade. (Parade? In this kind of weather?) Jesus knew there would be the YMCA in the future. This picture proves it. Of course, there’s a little help from some of our friends to illustrate the point further. Speaking of friends, an article from the BBC concludes that virtual friends are as important as real ones. The fact that I put together this sort of thing every night attests to that. Plus, you’re all such wonderful people, how could I not consider you important?

As perhaps a variant on the Domo-kun kitten picture, we have the Domino-kun kitten picture. This one is significantly more sadistic than merely killing the kitten.

Was High School Musical stolen? Probably a case of multiple people coming up with the same idea around the same time. Still, with the way copyright is written, if the small guy can prove he was there first, then maybe he’ll get Disney to pay him exorbitant amounts of money.

Keychain Game and Watch, for those times when a mission in Advance Wars DS just won’t do. On the same thought of smaller things from older times, pictures of vintage miniature cameras. Stepping up the technology level, but still keeping it on the miniature, the space cube computer.

Putting one's arm into the alligator's mouth is a bad idea. Especially if you’ve been smoking crack and have no clothes on. You might also do something like trying to steal guitars by stuffing them in your pants. Or following instructions to make roman candle shot, breathe fire or make torches, construct six-pointed throwing stars, or create a DIY tattoo gun. If you haven’t figured it out by now, don’t try this at home, d00ds.

Increasing diagnosis of mental illness and pushing of psychologically altering drugs on those newly minted mental: crackpot theory or future prediction? If it’s crackpot, then file it away with this article that says seat belts are dangerous, because bad drivers may assume that seat belts will handle any repercussions for their stupidity. Yeah - not exactly the most intelligent of conclusions.

Having a differing opinion does not mean that you can't entertain different opinions than yours. This annoys the Liberal Eagle greatly, and makes me wonder if the person on the other end of that discussion is projecting their own opinion about what should happen to differing opinions onto the Liberal Eagle. Or the accuser may be a person molded in the image of James Dobson, who sent out a statement saying that a Muslim Congressman shouldn't be allowed to swear his oath on the Qu'ran. Dobson demonstrates in that document precisely why we should let people swear their oaths on whatever they want to, so long as it gets them to actually uphold them - so that we can stop people like Dobson from taking over the country and twisting the establishment and free exercise clauses to suit themselves (or abolishing them entirely).

That’s what’s available from my end of existence. Maybe tomorrow I’ll feel like I’m far enough ahead to relax.
