Aug. 27th, 2007 12:14 pmThe apartment search so far has been less than fruitful, but I do know when my first day of work is. And I have leads and possibilities, I just have to find someplace that's willing to rent to me on my timeframe for something I actually think is affordable. If that doesn't work, I stay on a little longer where I am and go to work and then do the move after work. Ah, well.
News of note - Vick enters guilty plea, sentencing happening later. Of bigger note, another Bush administration appointee jumps ship, this time being Alberto Gonzalez, the Attorney General, effective 17 September. How many others are going to take the plunge, I wonder. Maybe by th eprimaries, there will be a whole new slate so that people will forget just how many people bailed out on them before the people started paying attention.
Anyway, it's taken me nearly an hour to catch up, and that's just making note of what's notable. It'll take some hours after taht to actually read and reply to those really interesting bits. As I said, I totally hate-not-hate you all for this. At least I know that my workplace's guest card system works very nicely. Now, for round two of the apartment hunt, and lunch. We'll see if I can find somewhere that will rent to me on my timeframe. So, still safe, still alive, still got the job. So, let's go get the apartment now.
