So... conference time for me. Luckily, free Internet access. So, where I can, I'll be posting as normal. Vote on Tuesday, whichever vision of change you believe in.

Internationally, General Petraeus becomes complete head of Middle East operations for the United States, $15 billion marked by Iraq government to help with reconstruction, as more and more Iraqis return home. So, with two-thirds of Iraq under local control, it seems more urgent than ever to have an exit strategy for the point when Iraq stands on its own feet again.

Politically, Gore's puts up effort to help Obama, which is pretty necessary, apparently, as one seventh of the populace is still undecided. Perhaps it is the work of dark and malevolent forces that so many people aren't going straight to McCain/Palin?

Governor Palin is prank phone-called, and even with signs pointing to the fake, she was pretty unaware what was gonig on.

In those wonderful opinions, The Heritage Foundation is taking issue with the way one of their analysts has been quoted, making it seem like he praised Barack Obama's tax plan as better for the country than John McCain's, Peter Pitts endorses the McCain health care plan without mentioning the candidate by name, but noting that tax credits and default opted-in insurance would be the "commonsense" reforms neeed. Laura Hollis feels that Senator Obama is totally willing to shred the Constitution, even as he claims to want to protect it, based on his economic and judicial plans, while Charles Krauthammer is amore moderate, just claiming that Senator Obama would drive the country leftward, even though he's already convinced that nuclear security is the issue and nothing else, as S.E. Cupp goes after Obama's "present" votes, claiming they're a sign of a Senator who refuses to take a position. Esqurie Magazine, however, doesn't seem to have a problem picking - they endorse Senator Obama as the only candidate who showed up to the election, as opposed to Senator McCain's parody of himself campaign.

Kimberly Strassel inteviews Sarah Palin, who is looking more and more like the poster girl of the GOP for the next presidential run even now. Suzanne Fields returns to the original counter-critique of Palin, claiming that those who disparage her are jealous of her sucesses. Mona Charen with her ten reasons to vote for McCain/Palin, the most important of which appear to be that Senator Obama will move the country more in the direction of Europe, instead of shunning their policies like the dying cultural hegemon they are. The WSJ says Senator McCain has always been the way he is, so when people suddenly change their endorsement because of his Palin choice or some other reason, they didn't understand the person they'd endorsed, Oliver North recommends a candidate that understands and supports the right to bear arms, and will be gung-ho about the military,

And last out of this segment, Ann Coulter can't resist swinging at Keith Olbermann over how he covered the B-carving hoax and the "kill him" comment,, because Mr. Olbermann used it as the context to discuss whether race was still a factor in the election these days. (He did also report on the hoaxing as soon as it was known it was one).

In tech, the cafe built within the tree, dark blue material on Mercury, and an octopus who learned all the things his keepers didn't want him to.
