Greetings everyone. We start with serious things - the secrecy of prisons allowing for the appearance of a sex trade in prisoners, often with the victims prostituted without their choice.

We continue with a stellar example of how people see the world differently based on whether they're on the heads or the tails side of the privilege coin. (And, by the way, feminism and other ways of trying to improve the lot of those on the tails side of the goin has intrinsic value - it does not have to be justified in relation to the people on the heads side benefiting.) Things like that aren't helped by active attempts by right-wing organizations to further marginalize those without privilege. We wonder how things will shake out with those now living in a country that forbids the wearing of full face-coverings, too.

Out in the world today, More on Mr. Harper and his ideological purity test that expelled two persons at one of his rallies for having been photographed with the Liberal leader and Mr. Willetts nicely taking the focus on class inequality away from the free market by casually directing into sexism territory.

Also, the arrest of Laurent Gbagbo by rebel troops in the Ivory Coast, paving the way for the rebellion, and Mr. Ouattara to take control of the country. If you believe in this century's version of the domino theory, such a move means The Bloodthirsty Religion can claim another base of operations, and the former colonial power is now letting their former colony be taken over by their enemies.

Japan ranked the seriousness of the Fukushima nuclear power plant disaster as the maximum value on the scale used to measure that seriousness. The only time a maximum value had been delivered before was for the Chernobyl incident.

As part of its efforts to distribute its own propaganda in other countries, the United States is training activists on how to evade authoritarian government scrutiny.

Pakistan has requested the United States stop sending drones into their sovereign airspace. Considering we're not at war with them, we probably shouldn't be doing it in the first place, but Terror Terror Fear Fear The Rules Don't Apply. Kind of like how the Pentagon may be considering a renege on the agreement for U.S. forces to leave Iraq.

Domestically, we start with the ghost towns of the 21st century - the places where the houses are vacant and the people are leaving.

Senator Franken of Minnesota would like to see war spending brought into the budget discussions as well, unlike Mr. Ryan's pass on defense. Speaking of defense matters, the United Staes Navy demonstrated a solid-state laser weapon. Blasters are soon to follow, I'm sure.

Elsewhere, In Montana, at least one legislator believes that the state Supreme Court's ruling that being gay is not illegal doesn't apply everywhere. Probably taking his research and justification from the Family Research Council, who are known distorters of data and drawers of incorrect conclusions from scientific studies. Both of those people must be worried when ministers change their minds about the evils of The Gay, as it gives the gay people cover to claim they're actually people, instead of Gays.

Exposing the truth: Fiscal conservatives are not conservative about fiscal items, they want all the fiscal items to go to conservatives, which is why they attack on their social agenda and claim it to be about the budget. Think about it. Take a look at what it would really mean to be pro-life in all its facets, instead of what the anti-life movement claims is pro-life. Now, see what the apologia says conservatives are about - supposedly reducing budgets, which is why they have to make you believe that the defense of Planned Parenthood was a distraction or a cover for some sort of fiscal matter. Because if it were actually about the women, then conservatives find themselves up the creek and around the bend without a paddle.

They would be in favor of things like unions, instead of likely cheering on IKEA's attempts to stop a plant in North Carolina from organizing. They'd be out supporting the union workers in Washington who are protesting their own budget cuts.

In opinions, the record of President Obama is clear - he' exactly the center-rightist that anyone who looked at his record knew he was. If progressives want a progressive Democrat in 2012, they will have to primary the President. Thus, it's time to stand up and demand some real liberalism, or else demand a new candidate.

Known homphobe and Islamophobe Bryan Fischer pens another article claiming that all immigrants must convert to Christianity when they come to the United States or stay home. Or at least, that was there. Excerpts of the problematic material are sitll around, even if the original has been scrubbed.

Staying on the theme, Mr. Kuhner defends the right of idiots to burn books, and then turns it into a train wreck about how primitive and backward the Afghsn people are, especially because they stubbornly cling to The Bloodthirsty Religion despite the United States' attempt to enlighten them. Oh, and if you're offended by that depiction, you should really be paying attention to all the Christians slaughtered by the Bloodthirsty Religion before you can say anything, at least according to Mr. Giles.

Out of opinions, Mr. Shultz expresses his opinion that Whtie House advisors really should be confirmed by the Senate if the United States wants a hope of constitutional and effective government. At whatever point the Senate starts moving nominees through and stops using their holds simply as political bargaining chips, then the process might start being obeyed again.

Last for tonight, a rotten image manipulation job, easily disproven, but just fine for thoroughly disgraced propagandist Andrew Breitbart.
