Date: 2023-12-13 05:15 am (UTC)One of my pet peeves is when people say "I can't draw." I wish they would say "I am not interested in drawing enough to spend all the time and effort to learn to do it." I also hate it when people say to me, "You're so talented! I can't even draw a straight line!" Then they proceed to tell me I should sell my work, which also really annoys me. (Why am I telling you all my pet peeves? ha!)
The fixed and growth mindsets -this puts into words something I think about but have not been able to articulate.
