Friendly Samhain to ye.
Nov. 1st, 2004 12:32 amI just got back from watching the Rocky Horror Picture Show. Like a good audience member, I shouted out some lines and retorts. I sat next to someone who had an alternate script memorized, so I heard that instead of the real one, but even then, I could catch on pretty quickly, so on repeat occasions I got the timing down. Definitely an interesting experience. I'll probably go back some other time.
Hopefully the kiddies had a good haul, and those who worked between the worlds were productive in their efforts.
Challenges tomorrow. Hoping all goes well. Would like to return to block for my final senior year home game. Exam Friday, Thesis in perpetuity, and I'm still not getting a break, really. But it's okay. We're more than halfway through the semester, and I've only had one major bout of insanity.
And since it's a religious holiday, I'll leave you with a religious debate. Check this out and tell me what you think about it.

Date: 2004-11-01 01:40 pm (UTC)On a personal note though, any child handing out religious literature makes me sick. I’ve never met any one under the age of twelve who actually understands the actual philosophy of any religion. Which means the parents are trying to use their child for their own purposes, which always makes me sick. I get the same feeling seeing kids passing out political flyers, saying “Don’t let the terrorist rape and murder me. I’m only six.”
I’d rather see kids be kids and make adults quit using them as pawns in their petty power struggles.
