silveradept...it would appear that I've been the recipient of a Random Act of Kindness. Well, it's Anonymous, really, but still, I can't imagine why anyone would want to do me favors. One way or another, I appear to have been the recipient of twelve months of paid user time. So, to my anonymous benefactor, many thanks. I'll get to playing around with my new features soon. One of which, being extra icons, I'll start on almost immediately. If my benefactor should wish to reveal themselves, either privately or publicly, I would be most appreciative.
Speaking of new icons, which ones stay when the paid time expires? The first three? Or do I choose? (Apparently, it says the three most active ones stay...)
As for my day, I have completed the last practice on the marching band asphalt that I will ever do. The Anarchist's Pregame was a success, as always. No more of those, either. Only one more game left in my regular season, and it's for all the marbles. What a way to create an end - the work is finally paying off. So tomorrow I get to take a quiz early for Greek Sport, then go down to Columbus, give a concert, spend the night, play the game, come back, do Thanksgiving with the family on Sunday, and still have two papers ready to go by Monday and Tuesday. Take that, busy weekend. I think. Or something. I'll get to it. Eventually.
I really should be doing work. But I can't seem to get myself in the right frame of mind to get motivated for it. Too hyped for football? Nah. Just wasting time that I should be using to more constructive purposes. Maybe it's one of those "don't think about it and inspiration will come" sort of things. Plus, the comic needed doing. So that got done at about 10.
The writings that are due Monday and Tuesday are basically done. I just don't know whether either will receive good markings - the thesis writing I can accept getting torn apart, as I'll need the practice in revision, but the Tuesday Paper's for a grade, and so that one needs to be a little bit more on the polished side. There will be time for that, as well. Have I mentioned that I'm probably taking one of my romances down to Columbus with me so that I can take notes on it and not feel like it was a five hour waste of time?
Yeah. Need to get that stuff in order - instrument, uniform, that sort of stuff.
But fear not! After having waded through all this pointless ramble, you are going to be graced with a few interesting bits. Let's start with Should you want everything legalized?
Then, think about the effect of rhythm on computing. No wonder we feel ourselves picking up the pace when the Nintendo gives us the 100-second warning.
Anyway, off to bed for me, after I study a tiny bit for my quiz tomorrow.
