Some part of today, I picked up something that makes my head feel a little behind when I move it around. There's no dizziness or anything associated with it - perhaps a little sinus pressure (especially if I just lean over to put some books in my bag), but it's something that happens occasionally. It's a little weird, but it's manageable - bed will cure that. I think. If anyone ahs an opinion on what it might be, let me know. Work tomorrow means early bedtimes and such. Although I did anti-work today - watched some animation. At work, will do work tomorrow.

Luckily, I can still choose what I look like - some people can't. Or are at least being pressured to conform. They should play a game or two of Stump to relieve the pressure. Or maybe go smoke some wed. There's a possibility that driving while high might not be as bad as you think. We're still waiting for the legalization bit.

[livejournal.com profile] tinchen put up a very interesting question - How do you deal with the intolerant, when it appears that they're everywhere and growing in numbers? Is it easier to retreat than to fight? I say it's easier, but it's wrong to do so. Perhaps the Zen method really is the key to not being overwhelmed - one thing at a time, as the situation arises. The big picture will follow as the smaller pictures merge. Enough people all doing the small bits will make the large bits happen. Patience, time, and the willingness to admit that it could take several lifetimes to complete are all part of the package. So work on your part, one person (or situation) at a time, and be proud of that. Small, but numerous may have a greater range of effect than one large thing.

(This is pontification on my own hypocrisy, you know. I want to do the big thing, too.)

I still say hit people with books. Or ignore them completly. Whapping annoying people with books it 150 million million times more fun though.

The most efficacious method of dealing with deviancy is to ignore, to the furthest point of our tolerance, those items which we find offensive.

ignore even more than you did before... like the man said, "ignore to the furthest point of our tolerance"... also gandhi said "first they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight you... and then you win."

Use their own intolerance to destroy them.
