silveradept...well, today was relatively quick. I didn't wrangle myself into a problem, as much as someone else didn't read directions, but either way, if things go poorly tomorrow, it'll probably be my head. Or at least my head, again, adding to the number of times I need to be executed in the course of having messed up.
At least it's not going to be a pile of flaming dung, right? I'll just take the hit, and everyone will be fine. I'm not going to get owned by some ten year-old mentality, am I? That would be like Mt. Everest shrinking... erm, bad example. That would be like proving that monkeys will pay to see some ass, too... another bad example. Well, it would be bad.
Although during lunch, I did get to chat with my GSI and another student about things like anime, so it wasn't a wasted day (no day where anime is involved is a truly wasted day).
Maybe it'll be a matter that I become a useful, but old technology, after all this graduate school work is done and such. After all, librarianship is a changing science and a mutating art form. Will we go the way of the digital? Possibly.
