I can sleep in tomorrow. I probably will, just because I've been run around a lot of places. But not too long, as I have some Things To Do. Like go see that movie that I've been planning on for the last three weeks. And deposit a paycheck. And maybe buy some books and animation. And possibly drop of
greyweirdo's CD at the Post Office as well. When it's the first day off you've had in a while, things just kind of pile up, ya know? And then meet some people at the arcade, like
blacktigr and
sporklord. If you're in the area, you might be able to just drop by and see us after about three or so. Assuming that we're not out trying to get grub or something. If you're really interested, you can stick around and watch me play intramural umpire, but I suspect most of you have work in the morning and wouldn't want to see me do that stuff anyway.
Let's see. What did I come across today that was worth mentioning? Well, other than a very scary revelation that a large part of the U*CON Board has LJ (and at least one of them has poked around in here - sorry about the whining, guys), there was this nice "aww" story about a Rudy-esque basketball story. In the interests of "balance", there's also this bit about Senators not showing up for an apology over lynching, and
greyweirdo notes discontent mothers, party resolutions calling for some heads, and points out that back in February, some people introduced a bill to repeal the term-limit amendment to the Constitution. Those wacky pols, is there nothing they won't stoop to?
That's a rhetorical question. The answer, we've found out, is "Yes." I Drew This puts that point across rather proficiently.
If you're interested (meh) in my art progressions, there's new material. 'S not really great, but when you experiment a bit, you get some stuff out of it. Getting a little bit closer towards settling in on styles, I think. In the latest crop, I find that I don't always like drawing eyes a certain way, so unless it's called for, I'll probably avoid that kind of eye. Doesn't mean I'm getting better, just that I'm learning a bit.
So, time I go to bed. If I get half the stuff I say I'm going to done tomorrow, things will be happy.
