Another day, another few dollars...

...another sunburn. Yeah, well, when you're wandering around the Art Fairs for about six hours or so, you get one. I also appear to have picked up some other stuff, too, which are throbbing at my head at the moment. Probably because of the sunburn. But I did see cool stuff which was far too expensive, cool stuff that I would consider buying if I had money to blast away, and (gasp) affordably-priced art that was pretty cool. (So I bought it.) I only bought one thing, but it was nice. It's another dragon for my collection, Western, fire-breathing style. I may stand it up and try to draw it at some point. I also donated a dollar to receive my name Sinicized. (Is that politically incorrect to say?) Four characters, all of which I have no clue as to what their respective ideograms may be. I'll have to ask someone knowledgeable. I got projects accomplished, in some fashion, today. In fact, rather than having the clock that made me run on time (although it did in the sense that I was aware of my umpiring shift tonight), I was able to experience a more child-like time.

Funny how when you have stuff to do, you start having your days go by a little quicker. Maybe tomorrow I'll sit at my machine, maybe I'll drive out elsewhere. Probably going to sit. I have some other things to do, like write. If I'm going to get the fiction project done, I'll be typing a lot. Actually, the fiction project will get done. Whether it's any good or not is the question. Oh, well. Time for me to try and go to bed with a slightly throbbing head. I think I'll be yeouching about the sunburn tomorrow.

Yes...enjoy the sunburn. That's what happens when you go out into the sun like normal people. Glad you at least had fun at the Art Fair. As for this "Fiction Project" you're working on: This wouldn't happen to be that story we worked on years ago would it?

Oh, and I GOT MY GTO DVD 10! Yay! Finished the damn series finally!

Yeah, yeah, I know I have vampire in my genes somewhere. I did have fun - there's a lot of good art there, actually, it's just that most of it is woefully overpriced.

Different project, Pervy. Something much different.

Yay for finished series! You realize now, that you're going to be loaning it out for a while to all the rest of us, yes?

glad you're enjoying the art fair too :) I got to take my favorite four year old there Wednesday afternoon. I'm enjoying a sunburn as well. lol ^^

It was rather interesting - remembering some of my childhood and of the childhoods I've seen, I think he's pretty close to right about the way kids experience time. I liked it better when my summer vacations were on this sort of unstructured power.
