silveradeptI saw the Dear Friends concert last night with some of the cohort from JAMS. Mmm... Final Fantasy Music - Orchestral, YAY! That's a very happy Silver. Even sitting in the Upper Balcony, the music was crisp and the visuals were great. There was only one piece in the program that I thought may have been the wrong choice, but compared to the rest, the concert rocked! Also got art book/program - Conductor of orchestra signed with sharpie. High-gloss of pages makes me think Sharpie won't stay, though. Too bad. I was a happy, happy boy last night.
Someone put up some snark about the Hot Coffee mod. It's funny, but in a "Ha, ha, SHOVE IT IN YOUR FACE, STUPID AMERICAN" sort of way. I still suspect some people wouldn't get it if they saw it. Judge for yourself. I might be giving it too much credit calling it funny.
A comeback for farm horses? Why not? They're cheaper than machines and produce their own gas. Speaking of, for those of us in college, here's a guide to keeping clothes relatively clean when you don't always have the washer handy.
It would also appear that, contrary to everything advertisement tells you, More Consumption does not equal more happiness. Nor does more income, after about a particular point. So if you want to be happy... don't worry so much about your money or your things. Wait... didn't my mother just say that?
Anyway, things have just got hot and humid, with a possible rainstorm for a tiny bit of relief. But don't bet on it. Things are going to get hot and sticky from here on out. Too bad it will be due to humidity.

| CLEAN COMPLEX DARK You like things edgy, subtle, and smart. I guess that means you're probably an intellectual, but don't take that to mean you're pretentious. You realize 'dumb' can be witty--after all isn't that 'the Simpsons' philosophy?--but rudeness for its own sake, 'gross-out' humor and most other things found in a fraternity leave you totally flat. I guess you just have a more cerebral approach than most. You have the perfect mindset for a joke writer or staff writer. Your sense of humor takes the most effort to appreciate, but it's also the best, in my opinion.
