The Irish Republican Army is disarming. They have decided that peaceful means are the only means to use. And Britain rejoiced, and Ireland with her. Maybe now they can get some work done. So long as they, erm... stick to their guns.

Unfortunately, at home, things aren't so good. The Democrats have made themselves a right-wing party. Soon it will be the Democrat-Republicans again. And then, maybe Big Brother will finally appear. After the flap over Hot Coffee, it might be that we don't get to see the blind video gamer work his magic. (Unlike Tommy, this guy's really blind, and still plays a mean pinball.)

Today wasn't necessarily uber-productive, but I did write and game some today. Productivity has it's advantages? Maybe. We'll see how it turns out. More writing and gaming to go tomorrow. And then things like weddings and weekends and uberparties and Everyone seems to like Saturday, for some reason.

Damn it! I'm pissed the IRA is disarming. Not only do I think those Ulster Provos need to be kicked back over the Irish Sea, but I have a character in a RP that's a Jack of All Trades Soldier in the IRA.

Damn it...hell.

Oh well.

Oh no, they made a right-wing platform. Answer me this: What recent administrations have actually stuck to a platform they campaigned on after they were elected?

...Actually, President Bush seems to have actually tried to do what he promised to in the election, with the push for that foolhardy amendment against gay marriage and the Social Security madness and other things. But other than that...

Oh, the IRA may be (claiming to be) disarming, but the Real IRA, Provisional IRA, Continuity IRA and their ilk haven't. The splinter groups will reject this.

The primary network wasn't much more than an organised crime ring by now anyway.

And of course there are the Potestant gangs as well. They've nearly as many men on the street as the Catholic at any one time.
