Work tomorrow.

Spent some time playing the game. Getting more and more cemented that I don't necessarily want to play it when it goes pay to play, even with the friendships I've made over it. It's nice, but the lack of a solo component really is a bit of an irritant, even with the professions and such. I guess that's the way things go. Besides, I realized that if I had a console with me, I wouldn't be playing the on-line game - I'd be playing the console. Or reading, or other such things. I have yet to find a gameworld I like. Hopefully the .hack system will work nicely for me. All I have to do, from what little has been released, is find two other people. And if I find some regulars, I can just hang out with them. Or play offline. Who knows? We'll see. Someone with an ear to Japan should start pouring in the reviews and that.

Other than that, today was uneventful. And that's good, too. Work tomorrow, plus umpiring means that the more things change, the more they stay the same. Should probably get cracking on getting that book in, too. That way, I grab it before it's assigned for class and can ponder its many deep meanings. Maybe Tuesday. Unless I can just tell the website to have it sent to a local store without having to "buy" it. Or maybe in between work and umpiring I'll just head up there and order it. Who knows?

Atm I'm pretty much "at home" with WoW. But I'd absolutly love a world based on FF IX. That would be wonderful.
