Well, Michigan lost today. A real squeaker. A lot of unfortunate things came together that swumg the game away from us... we did catch a few breaks, yes, but there was still good reason to be irritated.

We still have the conference slate, however, so if we can run the table on them, we should be in good position to end up in California come January. I'm just aggravated.

Oh, well. Stuff to do tomorrow as well, possibly getting a jump on the papers that will be arriving on my doorstep soon enough...

Ah yes, being a Duck fan, I was actually at this game. Let me tell you, Michigan came out there expecting to whomp on the Ducks, and that came back to bite them in the rear for the entire first half.

Going 2/4 in extra points didn't help either.

Frankly, Michigan didn't play anything like a 3rd-in-the-nation team until the 4th quarter.

Yeah, I know. We were worried that without the home crowd or support, that Michigan might not do so well.

The officiating was shoddy on both sides for both teams, though. Could 'a been a different game entirely if called better.

The demise of the team, though, was not adapting properly to the Ducks on either side of the field. Oh, well. Even if National Championship hopes are gone, there's still the Big Ten.

I'll give you that poor officiating, hoo yeah. I know the Ducks lost at least one touchdown to that, as evidenced by a replay on the big screen.

Oh well, we'll see how the rest of the season goes. It looks like we might have Pac10 hopes this season, and me not thinking we would until Clemens (our QB) was a senior...

You'll get help from beating us. Right now, though, we're hoping that Ohio State doesn't manage to keep pulling wins out of their asses indefinitely, and that we'll be able to hand them theirs when they come to the stadium this year.
