Study break (for someone with no finals, that's even better), then watching some poker, then wiffleball, where I continued to serve up a good mix of pitches for both sides. After an hour, we were all sufficiently cold to call it a nice game. Good to be able to sleep in tomorrow, too. It was a cloudy night, but I think it's close if not at a full moon.

There's some strong language being bandied about in this particular set of linkworks from D.R.T.. I'm not sure it's all accurate, or even supported, but it is all interesting to read. (At least, from my perspective, as someone who likes to soak up words and consider their implications, often without regard to authenticity unless there's a serious problem.) The lead: G8 economic doublethink. Exploiting the masses in your area, and making you think they're doing them good. Behind it, a discussion on twisting words and torture, where, according to the author, someone confesses they are a subhuman and then tries to pull everyone down to his level by insisting that they, too, are morally compelled to think and do the same as he has. Finally, someone puts down what they believe is a definition that encompasses the entire magic(k) phenomenon and explains it as something that people do to change their realities - by affecting themselves.

That's the strong, strange stuff that filtered into my presence and then flitted away just as easily. Just one more project to go and then I'm good. Which means I need to start thinking about compressing my life enough to go home for a little while. And not to forget anything. That would be really nice, not to forget anything.
