On Tuesday Morning...
Sep. 16th, 2003 08:45 am...I am getting ready for clasas. Yesterday was uneventful. I went to class, I went to band, where we read down the Opera show we're doing in two weeks (I've already dubbed it the Looney Tunes Show) and then I did Challenges.
Have I mentioned how much I don't like to do Challenges? It's a wonderful system we have in the band for ensuring that the best people are in, but it does mean that Fridays, without fail so far, I have to stay after normal mraching band class to audition for my spot in next week's show. One of these days I want to be not challenged. I don't think it will happen until next year, and even then, it still might not.
Either way, I'll know whether or not I botched mine today (You see, if I have to keep doing them, I'm more afraid that I will unintentionally screw one up and then ahve to spend time practicing my marching fundamentals for all of practice instead of doing marching shows, which are much cooler and make the time go by faster.)
Oh, well. Gotta get ready for my 10 AM discussion section. (Which leads into a nasty three hour block of two classes... but both classes have been interesting so far, and so they're manageable.)
