Also know as, I had nothing last night, so I refrained from posting. Have done a little better in possibly noteworthy material for tonight.
First, I did put a small dent into my final paper. That's worth celebrating over itself. Then the afternoon kicked off with some fraternity functions, Final Lessons, that sort of thing.
Then the whole chapter went out and played Whirlyball. Think lacrosse cups, basketball backboards and bumper cars. Strike the target to score. Lots of fun... our team went 2-1 in three games, which isn't bad. I couldn't find my scoring touch this year, unlike last, but I did okay as a midfielder.
Tomorrow is a Women's Basketball engagement, then I'm meeting some friends at Wizzy's for a bit, and then probably coming home to do work until the parents come in, if they do. My weekend is jam-packed with adventure, ya know?
The local paper's Letters page has been very interesting. Being that I like to follow issues where religion is called into things, it's been fun watching people walking out of a gospel concert set because one of the speakers had comments about homosexuality, and then another defending said comments with the argument that it's in the Bible. It very well may be so, for all I know, but at least in the Levitical injunction, there's room for interpretation according to the NSRV translation. All of that, while not immaterial, is likely not what you wanted to hear. So forget it exists if you want to.
So what do I do now? Probably bed, considering it is past my bedtime. Or maybe I'll watch an episode of R.O.D. TV and then bed.
