Happy Mother's Day...
May. 10th, 2004 12:48 am...to all those who are mothers, whether they have children or not. Many thanks for your dedication to children.
In my personal life, I'm actively mobile. In fact, I have been for the last few days. I still limp along a bit, but for the most part, excepting for staircases, I'm up to as fast as I can go. (Doc said, no running, no jumping, no skydiving...) It's been raining for most of the evening (still is), and I have to say, I love it. I like thunderstorms and rain for some odd reason. I'm not so fond of being caught in downpours, but observing the storms from inside a dry place is very good when you have no pressing concerns.
I think I'm going to Anime Central, barring unforeseen insanities. So if anyone on my friends list is going there as well, let me know and I'll see if we can squeeze a meet time in there somewhere (I tend to stack my schedule a bit with programming and stuff, so it very well could be a tight squeeze).
It was a bit relaxing to be home and have an excuse for why I wasn't out looking for a job. Meant I could play X-2 with less guilt. When I get up in the morning, it's jobhunt time again, so I guess I'll be trying to be employed again. Plus, I need to do a little preperatory shopping for ACEN (Cup-A-Noodle! Or something like it... some soda, potentially, the Bawls I've been saving, snack food for when I'm in autograph lines or dashing between panels...) to get ready for the event. So tomorrow will probably be fairly eventful. At least, I hope it is. Looking for a job is almost a full-time occupation by itself.

welah's, with stuff scattered all over and around it. But I do know where things are, so it is organized, in a weird sort of way.) when I think, so it just sort of goes down as it comes out.
Roommate N has been playing Gauntlet Dark Legacy over the weekend with Roommate S, whom he's managed to get hooked on the game. We're slowly dragging her into our world, using things like RPGs to soften the blow. So far, so good.
