I went away for the weekend, and it was definitely worthwhile. I got to tell my dear older sister and my grandfather (Da's side) that they should be happy for having lived to their birthdays once again. Then I got to see my younger sister go through one of the happier moments of her life - high school graduation. And today, I just sat around and played games with my family. Also cool.
Stay safe, friends of mine in military service. I want to remember you on Veterans' Day, not Memorial Day.
I probably needed the time with family. My astrological sign supposedly requires a solid foundation before it wants to do anything, so I suppose that needing to touch base occasionally is a good thing for me. Unfortunately, there's still that little nag in the back of my head telling me that I should already have a job and be making money, and this, and that, and the other things, as well. Even so, I was able to enjoy myself over the weekend. (Silence, brain, lest I silence you with a cotton swab!) There were a couple sacrifices to the Demigod of Burnination, Kingsford over the weekend, too.
So it's June now. Only one month and three days until I absolutely, positively, HAVE to be out of town. Or something like that. My pictures from ACEN returned, and most of them didn't turn out. Luckily, the important ones did (the Nabeshin^2, Monica Rial signing a fairly unorthodox item, and Nabeshin giving an Ilpalazzo a very good "Heil!") and that's really all that mattered. So tomorrow I go at the job hunt again. Ganbatte,
welah, on your interview. And here's hoping that I hold onto my sanity long enough (and that my knee heals well) to make it to Band Week...
