Six-July...
Jul. 6th, 2004 10:55 pmor Boomtime, Confusion 41, for those keeping score on a different calendar.
I don't think I did anything too interesting today. Embarrassed myself slightly by overstepping my bounds a tad in the umpiring tonight (but reasonably so - I thought the other umpire might have had to stay somewhere away from the play... oh, well, 's done now...), but other than that, been relatively uninteresting.
Well, other than that I read through both I, Robot, (the Asimov one) and The Caves of Steel today. Probably will end up finishing the last one tomorrow. With no television in the house, I reverted to my old ways - reading. Was actually quite pleasant.
Need to go aggravate the Secretary of State tomorrow - I was supposed to have my nice, new, shiny license by my twenty-first birthday. It hasn't arrived yet. So I go to browbeat them tomorrow. Might get some groceries while I'm out, since roommate S has decided that we should start buying things somewhat separately, considering that I'm the only one with any longer-than-a-week plans for this apartment.
Which reminds me. I need to aggravate someone else about this weekend's plot to drive long ways. Might have to leave later than I had originally intended. *sigh*
From the depths of the laboratories of Earth, I present... Why Transformers Hum.
And this silly thing:
I think that's it for this night's coredump. I'm still working out some issues from the Saturday post (which, by the way, was blamed as a potential reason that
rimspace got all existential for a moment) as well as others, as
welah can attest. If it ever happens, I wonder how scary it will look if I could make a post where I had no issues to work out with myself or anyone else... knowing the nature of LJ, it would probably be blank. (I don't think Seraphim needs to act too much to scar Piro by reading random LJ's... they can do that by themselves, I'm sure.)
