S'alright.
Aug. 11th, 2004 08:39 amWednesday produces a lot of fun things for all of us. I spent yesterday with friends who live in Wisconsin but like to come back to Michigan for a little bit (they used to live down at the end of my road) every so often. The two that are closest to my age are away, one in Hawai'i, the other working, but it was still fun talking to the parents and the younger children. I had a good time, and that was the point.
The doc didn't expressly forbid me from playing in the band this year (good). He did, however outlaw football (bad, but bearable) for this year. Silly knee. You hold me back from my ultimate career year for IM football. Being a senior, I was going to request a spot on the co-rec team. That way I wouldn't have had to worry about broken fingers or playing defense, for the most part.
Otay, then. For those who might want a slightly more Dogma-esque version of the Curse of Greyface, check this out. If you're in the mood for a more random sort, perhaps an Electronic Incantation of some sort, choose the NecroMemeicon, instead.
For Deep Space Nine fans, or others who have come across solar sails in their science-fiction readings, Japan deployed solar sails in a successful test.
Friends of the Grammar Nazi from Queen of Wands (or anywhere) will definitely want to check out this: Speaking like a Kewlite, Or OMFG! LOL! U n00b, and the amounts of brainbleach it takes to get rid of that stuff.
It's possible that all we need is compassion and loving-kindness. That counts toward yourself, as well. So that may be where we start going wrong.
I think that's enough of displaying the rest of the internet to you. It's all useful, it's all strange, it's all true, false, and meaningless, all at the same time.
