Outside my window, it snows. This is a recent phenomenon, since it was not snowing two hours ago.
shadesfox, as you can see, such things really are normal here.
In trivia, my NCAA first round is bad. My upset picks aren't and consequently, some of my other picks aren't going through. I entered a free bracket for kicks, and continue to try and refine my own system to be workable. Hopefully the second round looks better, as all the wrong decisions I made here are canceled out by right decisions later on. you never know what will happen. In NIT news, go Wichita State.
I spent today without consuming any alcohol, as laziness (and work) combined to keep me away. But I did go to dinner with my sister. She brought along a target... err, her boyfriend, whom both of us pelted with straws at the diner. We had a good time, especially since my sister and I are used to each other enough that we can play into and through each other's jokes. It may be not be one of the 13 things that make no scientific sense, but it's probably close.
NASA needs moon dirt. Who knew?
There was a discussion somewhere about licorice on my friends list, and how people liked it and people didn't. Well, it appears, at least according to the article, that licorice also has health benefits. Very cool.
I could use some of those health benefits, actually, as I'm fighting off something - probably a cold, but of the annoying kind that seem to inflict me - slightly sore throat from drainage, and always only one nostril blocked - left or right, but never both. Those types sometimes migrate up into my sinuses when they're done playing in my nose, and then finally go away. But go away they will, even as they dehydrate my lips even more than usual.
Tomorrow? Probably gathering information and applications on possible jobs around Ann Arbor that I can walk to. Likely also to see thesis draft revision. And more amusement as my precognitive powers are proven to be less than stellar. G'night everybody...
