More work?

Right-o. Actually, this has been a good pair of weeks for me - if I could keep this up for a while, I'd be really happy and I might be able to stay a bit ahead of my rent. There's no guarantees things will last, though, so I'm still looking out for another job, hopefully one that will help me get ahead of things. It'll also give me resources to stop the squirrel invasion. That's a training video. Be afraid. Perhaps if I were a Bob Saget look-alike, work would be easier for me.

Anything I do get for leads, though, will have to be entered on my Hipster PDA or I'll forget it. Absentmindedness sucks, believe me. Now, what was I going to talk about...?

Oh, right. This Friday, I'll be mini-celebrating my obtainment of the Bachelor of Arts degree. I'm still not sure where, because I need a place in Ann Arbor that will be young enough to admit the kids and old enough to let the old guys drink if they want to. And somewhere relatively inexpensive, as well. There's a lot of good places to think of, but they might all be age-restricted or really pricey... I'll figure it out. Tomorrow I'll probably let any interested parties know where I'm going to be. Anime central in seven days, and having gone through some of the guest list, it might be a con book year for me this year. That's okay, though. There will be other chances for some of the guests. And the signature is really more of a "I was there" thing than anything else. Although I do wish Crispin Freeman would come back - now that I've had some study, I think I'd enjoy that mythology presentation he gave a lot more... and I'd probably understand it better, too. Plus I've got Last Exile now - it would be a missed opportunity if I didn't get him to sign on one of the many Alex Row covers.

I'll be having fun there. I'll also probably be behaving a bit less Mask-y and more Masque-y. Definitely need to keep striving when it comes to positive definition. The fruits, though, should make the struggle worth it.

Oh, for those who're looking for something cool to do on Friday, and have the weather to pull it off - No Pants Day. I can't help but say it in a Guu-fashion, though, for reasons in the animation. Hey, it certainly beats the report that says there's been a boatload of money wasted, filched, or unaccounted for with regards to the rebuilding process in Iraq. And you wonder why they're so pissed off...

...anyway. It's off to bed we go, to only the places that we know in our dreams.
