Well, it's been a work day. Lots of work on various projects and things. Will be getting up tomorrow and seeing whether one of my co-workers will also be at work or not. We'll hash things out from there as we need to if he is. If he's there and wants the shift, it'll give me an excuse to do some other stuff, too. But I can really use the cash for grad school. Especially since my rent went up. Which does say that my roommate will probably be all moved out as of tomorrow. It'll be the first time in four years here at college that I won't have a roommate. Housemates still, yes, so don't expect things to change that much.
At least I didn't have gym class. (Movie) Nor did I have any interference from the malevolent fae. Did I just make that up? I don't think so. And I know I'm not making this up - evolution's on trial in Kansas. Everyone get your John Scopes action figures ready. Wait... haven't I heard that state name before?
And I'm not sure if this is a Public Service Announcement or what, but it's interesting enough data to be passing along - for those who don't want to look, you don't have to. Science is apparently developing a better prophylactic. How are they making it better? By making sure it stays tight. That's definitely an interesting idea, and if it works, well, great.
Last object for tonight, and it's art-related. Sort of. At the desk at work, there's some time to think to oneself. And as I was perusing the 9th Elsewhere forums in Lurker, I felt the presence of Sen-Sen. Back again, or something like that. Not too long after, a rather interesting picture painted itself in my head - a head-and-shoulders shot of me with the dragon perched on my left shoulder. What made the picture interesting was that I had visible dragon wings in the picture as well as him (I might possibly have had the tail just out of the camera). And somehow, that felt like the most natural pose in the world, wings and all. Both of us were looking at a computer monitor (which would be out of the frame of the picture) rather intently. Perhaps if I find someone at the Acen Artist's Alley or something that will do such a picture for me, I might have it drawn up to see what it looks like. Still, it struck me as potentially odd, in the sense that "I thought you were just Soulbonded" was the party line at the moment. Ah, well. We'll see what happens - I always think I'd look cute drawn draconically.
Anyway, off to bed with me! Time is precious when it comes to sleep.
