Well, got the opportunity to take another work shift, and so I will tomorrow. Any personal plans will have to be put on hold until at least Friday, I suspect. This is okay. Tomorrow I just have to remember to actually take lunch so that I can put some money in my ailing bank account. And to pack and make dinner at work, too, since there isn't going to be a lot of time between that and carpooling to Detroit to watch a baseball game tomorrow (somedays it's good to be an IM official). Oh, well. I just need this headache to go away - might be allergies engaging themselves, but then again, I do sit in a artificial light environment for a while each working day. The sun just really got to me today, I guess. I'll probably get used to it.

Slight insomnia-ish thing last night - slept, just lightly. Had a little difficulty getting back to sleep. Then woke up with my alarm to go to work.

There are other headaches, too. Like Britain and the U.S. trying to provoke Saddam before we could legally invade him. And the Governator's little p(l)othole stunt. And the anti-Clear Channel Clear Channel station. And the typical Administration reaction to negative press - call it absurd and get offended by it.

Luckily, for all those who have been rebuffed from the boudoir by a headache, there's been plenty to make up for it. We'll start with the shopper who fainted from her undulating underwear, move to the phallic object bomb scare, and go for the gusto with two jokes - Is it time to Swap? and the Forget-Me-Not Underwear. (Ingsoc approves of this device.) If you're still searching for tips, maybe this article could help? That is, if you actually believe all that stuff in Cosmo...speaking of false information... is it really true that people can lightsaber duel with... toys?

Anyway. Not to be outshone by the stupid or the lascivious, the technologically savvy throw up some material of their own. While kibioctets may not interest many, the world's simplest FM radio jammer might be perfect for that aggravating person just next door. And make sure that you applaud this movie idea - it would be perfect irony if it were to go through.

We're hitting the home stretch, really. Although now that Deep Throat has been revealed, we're going to need a scandal of some sort to distract attention away from our Glorious Leader again.

Then again, if survivors are jumping ship (rumored or no), then people might start paying attention. There are a lot of people who might be seriously considering removing themselves from the societal spiderweb, either by physically relocating themselves or by withdrawing from the society in general. It could be worse than it is, but things seem to be sliding downward at a somewhat more rapidly increasing pace.

I'm a Key Character. No surprises there. )

I also have a soft spot for a girl who's secret dream is to be neko-mamire. Perhaps Kaorin needs to take a leafing through the Teen Girls Bible to find out what she should do. (Link courtesy of Dial-the-Truth Ministries , home of the Contemporary Christian Music Satanic Song List.

Out of [livejournal.com profile] soulbonding came a question as to whether the entities in our heads are Tulpa or not. I'll have to think on this one a bit.

And the last part for tonight! I tried some sketching, first of one of Tine's user icons. Meh. Could'a been better. Then I tried to draw BT's icon. Maaaybe. I made the neck too long. And just so I wouldn't feel really discouraged, I did one of Urban's, too. All in all, though, it was kind of a scrap day for drawing. Maybe I'll try for more of Tine's stuff, especially the Pu, tomorrow. Now, it's off to bed. (By the way, do you know how hard it can be trying to make four days of the Web make sense?)
