Hokay, so.
Jul. 4th, 2005 11:19 pmIt was, like, my birthday today. I had much fun this weekend. I found my missing Brigadoon DVD and bought it (Wednesday, I have a date with the couch and the DVD player) And there's fireworks going off randomly outside my window. Sleep tonight might be a problem. That's bad, because I have work in the morning.
I also bought five anime-related CDs (4 OST - Samurai Champloo, Mononoke Hime, Spirited Away, R.O.D - and one not - Yuki Kajiura's Fiction album) - yay for trying to get my collection of MP3s legal. Through serendipity, I also now have a wireless keyboard and mouse. This does help my desk situation out in a few interesting ways - less cords = better.
The weekend was playing a few different PS2 games (got whipped by my older sister at Super Bust-A-Move) and such. There was the rainstorm, which my car's windows were down for. I was silly not to put them up when I noticed them the first time, when there was no rain, but normally I don't leave my windows down, so it's a strike against the person who drove it last, too.
So I spent most of today on the road, really, coming back from visiting older sister. No real celebration, and I have work tomorrow - so no real celebration at all. But for better or worse, I've advanced a year. There were some birthday wishes tendered to me via LJ and e-mail, so it's all good, as well as the ones in person.
Of course, this has also meant that I have about four or five days' worth of backlog to work through. So it'll take me tomorrow to get through the backlog, and then the day after to get caught up, or something like that.
But to keep you busy, a meme that I think has interesting potential - via

Please leave a one-word comment that you think best describes me. It can only be one word. No more. Then copy & paste this in your journal so that I may leave a word about you.
If you're leaving more substantial commentary, the one-word can be appended, of course.
