And then, a rather interesting thought - Why Do You Work So Hard? I've thought about what the country might become like if we took European-style siesta breaks and vacation months and such. I think we'd be better for it, even if the economists and the Puritan Ethics people swear up and down that the country will fall apart. They might think that if we let people have lunch breaks and vacations, they might start thinking it's okay to let gays marry, since they'll be more relaxed in general. (Hey, it's a stretch, but we already have people who go beyond that - you know, people burning popular children's books because they have fantastic content and that.)
